HOW IT WORKS
Our advice on colour comprises of four simple steps…
1.Book your Conversation
You can book an appointment by sending an email to Kate at info@trcookers.co.uk. You’ll receive an email confirmation, plus receive a reminder the day before our conversation.
2. Discuss the Options during the appointment
This is your opportunity to share your ideas and give a better idea of the shades you might be thinking of.
3. Swatches will be sent
Colour swatches selected during the conversation will be forwarded to your home for review.
4. Selection of your preferred colour
Once you’ve received the swatches and had time to consider the options, you can then make a final decision – it’s as easy as that.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The Colour Conversation is free and part of the Thornhill service.
In terms of choice of colour – Black is included in the price. With other colours, due to the complexities of paint chemistry and the longer kiln process, there’s a supplement of £375.00 plus vat towards the increase in time and materials.
BESPOKE
We are able to provide a quotation for a unique bespoke colour on an individual basis. A customer recently commented that as their cooker would be around for at least 20+ years the investment for a bespoke colour was worth it. We’re happy to help where we can, so please do ask if you would like to explore. If you want your own special colour, this costs £ 500 + VAT for the research and development, plus the first batch, enough for a cooker. You will be given the swatch to approve your bespoke colour before the cooker is enamelled.
COLOUR SWATCHES
Glaze is coloured glass melted over the iron at about 800C, colours vary slightly. The RAL colours (below) are only an approximation, they are the nearest RAL colour we could find to the actual enamel colour. The best way to be sure is for us to send you a colour swatch, we can send 3-4 at a time (they are pieces of iron so quite heavy), all we ask is that you return them.
